🟢 Install EZ Media Player on NVIDIA Shield TV
EZ Media Player is available from the Google Play Store on the Shield — easiest method, no sideloading.
From your NVIDIA SHIELD home screen, navigate to the top menu and select the Google Play Store app (shopping bag icon).
Select the magnifying glass in the top-right corner and type "EZ Media Player" (or "EZApps Hub" if searching by developer). The official EZ Media Player entry will appear in results.
Select EZ Media Player and click "Install". The app downloads and installs automatically — no sideloading needed since it's distributed through the official Play Store.
After installation, select "Open" to launch EZ Media Player for the first time.
When prompted, allow EZ Media Player to access storage and media so it can save settings, cache EPG data, and play local content.
On the launcher screen, open the LiveTV or VOD option. Enter your IPTV provider's Xtream Codes login (server URL, username, password) or M3U playlist URL. Your channel list and EPG will load.
Open the Apps shortcut from the launcher, scroll down to find the built-in UPDATE app, and run it if a newer version of EZ Media Player is available.

✅ The NVIDIA Shield TV Pro has USB 3.0 ports + microSD for external storage if you want to cache EPG or recordings.

🔥 Install EZ Media Player on Amazon FireStick 4K
EZ Media Player is NOT in the Amazon Appstore, so it must be sideloaded via the Downloader app. Works on FireStick 4K, 4K Max, Fire TV Cube, and all Fire TV devices.
From the FireStick home screen, go to Settings → My Fire TV → About. Highlight your device name and press the Select button 7 times. You'll see "You are now a developer!"
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Select "Install Unknown Apps" (or "Apps from Unknown Sources" on older versions) and toggle it ON. This lets you sideload apps not in the Amazon Appstore.
Go to Search, type "Downloader", and install the official Downloader app by AFTVNews (orange icon). This is how you'll fetch the EZ Media Player APK.
Open Downloader and enter the official EZ Media download URL from ezmedia.org (check the Downloads / Portal section). The APK will download to your device.
When the download finishes, the installer appears — select "Install". If Fire OS asks for permission again, allow Downloader to install unknown apps and return to the installer.
After install, Downloader may offer to delete the APK. Choose "Delete" to free FireStick storage space.
Launch EZ Media Player from your apps library on the FireStick home screen.
Allow EZ Media Player to access media/files when prompted.
Open the LiveTV or VOD option and enter your IPTV provider's Xtream Codes login or M3U URL. Your channels and EPG will load.
Open the Apps shortcut, scroll down to the built-in UPDATE app, and run it to keep EZ Media Player current.
🔥 FireStick Notes
🔥 EZ Media Player is NOT in the Amazon Appstore — you must sideload the APK via Downloader.
🌐 Always get the APK from the official ezmedia.org Downloads/Portal page — avoid third-party APK mirrors.
